Hey! I’m still alive. I’ve been hella busy here in ‘Straya, hardly got a minute to myself. UNTIL NOW. So here’s a quick update of what’s been happening, I’ll follow up with something more in-depth (particularly with Sydney) soon. Right-o!

So long, Korea!
Friday! Friday! Friday was more exploring, I read about this newly opened plaza that sounded full of promise, in reality it was mostly empty with a handful of older folks walking through it. Bit of a let down, so I didn’t stick around, there was a museum to visit!
Oh dance baby, oh dance baby
Wednesday I went for a wander about the area where the hostel is. It seems like everywhere is bustling with people looking around shops and getting some scran on the go.
Hoers, Fash, Dragon
I met up with Ye-Seul again on Tuesday morning, we went to Nampo-Dong to have a look at shops and get some street food, oh yeah. Thems is tasty eats.
Busan Beaches
Monday morning was tough, I went to bed without earplugs so I could hear my alarm so sleep wasn’t so easy this time. Still, I was excited to get moving on the KTX to Busan.
Last Day in Seoul
Okay! Seoul part 2! On Sunday I got up pretty late again. I was determined to see the imperial palace, Gyeongbokgung. Stepping out the subway station you’re met immediately by the walls of the palace grounds. This place is huge. You can see the entrance gates nearby and some of the larger buildings in the distance. So I made my way in for a wander about.
새벽 별
I’m going on an adventure.
Well, this is it. I’m sat in a pub in Heathrow, guzzling down a bottle of Staropramen. It was a late-ish night last night and a very early morning today, and I’m still trying to figure out how I feel about the whole situation. In about 12 hours I’ll be in Seoul. Am I excited? Aye. Nervous? Just a wee bit. Mostly I just feel like I’m getting on with it. When the heck did I grow up?!
Who Likes to Rock the Party?
Well it’s been a while since I felt the need to post anything here as it felt like there was not much happening that was worth talking about. The truth is, plenty has been happening. Break it down!
Carrots Handbags Cheese
I’m in the middle of the Scottish countryside with my family at the moment, waiting for someone to come back so I can go and scale a munro or something. Ach, I don’t expect to get to the summit, but we’ll see how far I get! Just hope the rain stays off. I’ll tell you something though, what an incredible place this is. The house is fantastic, the scenery is nothing short of stunning, and I’m glad I got the chance to do this with my family before I head off on my big timey adventure timey. Got some more extended family coming tonight, so I expect there’ll be lots of booze, music, silly games and a lot of laughs. Very much looking forward to it!
